There is an amazing potential in commercialising Lun Bawang’s economy, at the same time empowering the youth to enhance the economic impact on the community as well as to ensure the longevity of Lun Bawang’s invaluable legacy.

Towards Uplifting Lives Program (TULiP)
Challenge
Despite the efforts made over the years by various federal and regional governments, poverty persists in many parts of the world, particularly in emerging nations. Even though Sarawak is rich in natural sources, but Sarawak is one of the states with a high percentage of poverty which is 10.7% of the 625,400 households (Borneo Post, 2022). The state’s population was greatly aided in finding job prospects by the core industries of forestry, fishing, and agriculture. We approach the Lun Bawang ethnicity at Lawas, Sarawak and exposure to them with training for income-generating businesses.
